This was the first vacation that my Ate and I planned. We both felt that we didn’t do summer any justice so we planned for an “Extended Summer Getaway” and Bohol it is! 🙂 Jade tagged along (yipee!).
June 10, 2009 (Travel Time – Cebu)
Since my Ate is based in Cebu and I am based in Manila, I first took a 10pm flight going to Cebu. Thanks to Cebu Pacific’s Peso Fare I was able to book a roundtrip ticket for only P500! 🙂
June 11, 2009 (Travel Time – Tagbilaran, Bohol – Day 1)
I spent the night in Cebu and we headed out early morning to take the FastCraft going to Tagbilaran, Bohol. Even at the pier, you can see that the seawater is really clear. Gets me wanting to jump off (hehehe).
First stop was the Blood Compact Site at Brgy. Bool, Tagbilaran City. The said site was created by the “Father of Modern Philippine Sculpture” Napoleon Abueva who is a Boholano. This portrays the Sandugo done between Miguel Lopez de Legazpi of Spain and Rajah Sikatuna of Bohol which considered as the “First Treaty of Friendship” between two civilizations.
