Ted and I usually run around the Ayala Triangle every Tuesdays. It’s more of a we-just-need-to-move-around-and-sweat running than a ‘serious’ running per se.
Thanks to our fellow DBP Runners, we were introduced to the world of fun run. And what better way to start than to join a FREE run!
We ran the Hyundai Run for a Cause 5K Category. I did not dare explore the 10K because of my pride. I wanted my first fun run to really be a RUN rather than a WALK. All-in-all it was a great run! Kudos to the organizers! We had singlets, race bibs, timing chips, tote bags and loads of pictures – all for FREE. Yehess! 😀
We finished the 5K run in 31minutes and 15seconds according to our timing chips http://www.itemhound.com/raceresults/8/14132.
We were quite proud with the results. Next stop will be the NatGeo Earth Day Run on April 10, 2011. Goodluck!
